A-11 Pebbles Protest

The infamous --- A-11!!

I thought I would post this one first, since it took the longest. The problem with these darn blocks - which I keep saying over and over - is they don't look like as much work as they really are!

So this one will go down in history as the one that I spent the most time on in Tofino. I am glad I am getting back to doing them. I will have to get Eric to update my Virtual Dear Jane quilt as well.

This is so pretty, and great fabric. I was thinking that maybe this should be the one that I do next, but I guess not. I've been out of practice too long, and I need to get the challenge quilt done.
I think maybe I will use four patches in the corner, and piece the corners as three separate pieces - that way it is easier to sew, plus as a bonus, I get to count even more pieces towards tht total.

Wow, it looks like a lot of work to me! Are you doing this by hand or machine? Those blocks are so small, and have SO many pieces!

It's a beautiful piece of work. And something more for me to aspire to. If I ever get started on mine...
